To the whole of our membership

i welcome all our members to our eighth edition of the Scunthorpe technical branch directory for the year 2007.

i send my best wishes and compliments of the season and i sincerely hope that we shall have a better and peaceful new year throughout the world.

due to illness & an accident plus pressure of work we did not produce a branch directory for the year 2006 however we did print 500 booklets for the region by request, about the history of the formation of our retired members
association in the Scunthorpe area.

this directory for year 2007 is the start within our own trade union of the forming of a new union on its own you will notice and find out when reading this directory that i have catered for three sections within the Scunthorpe TEC branch

section (1) covers all sections of our membership in the rule book

section (2) caters for our youth members section between the age of 16 years to 27 years of age

section (3) caters for all our retired members association who have retired from work and are honorary life members

i am hoping you all will work together under the spirit of the main section (1) to achieve our ambitions of a new trade union which is supporting servicing recruiting and retention of all our membership in the Scunthorpe
technical craft section

many thanks to all our full time officials branch officials representatives and all members in our branch for their support over the last year and long may it continue
