Refer a Rough Sleeper.

If you are worried about someone rough sleeping or a client is rough sleeping, referrals to the P3 Outreach Service (was St Mungos Broadway Gloucestershire Outreach) must be made through Streetlink. Data on the number of rough sleepers referred, is fed back to the government which affects funding, no referrals.. no funding...as there isnt seen to be a problem.

Anyone experiencing homelessness were advised in the past to first visit The Vaughan Centre, Day Centre, at 159, Southgate Street, open Mon-Fri, 9am-10am for washing, laundry, hot food, referal to Outreach Workers, support, City Council, etc...open 10am-4pm. However, the Vaughan Centre resource was forced to close on a lack of support by the LA.

We advised rough sleepers to present at P3 at either Cheltenham Navigator on Prestbury Road or at 74 Worcester Street if in Gloucester. They could phone P3 on 0808 1786003 number, email glos.outreach@p3charity.org. or if they are able to access the Internet, they can refer via the P3 website. P3 now have a drop-in service for rough sleepers at 13 Ladybellegate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2HN. It’s open 10-5 Monday – Friday and the telephone number is 01452 221698. Ray Donaghue is the person to contact. However, we have found that the P3 drop-in is not a drop-in when busy and an appointment may well have to be made for the next day, this is not in accordance with NSNO. This is why a Day Centre NSNO HUB is seen as being critical to work with other service providers and we fully support the George Whitefiled Centre as it continues to grow and support those on the street.

P3 also have a drop in on Saturday and Sunday at 72 Worcester Street 10.00am – 5pm.
