There was an initial site meeting on Wednesday 3rd August 2016 to hear from people interested in forming a friends group. There was unanimous support to set-up a friends group and the intention is to hold the next meeting in September, this will be to elect a committee. The process will be managed impartially by South West London Environment Work (SWLEN)* -Now Habitats & Heritage- allowing everyone to put themselves forward for committee roles.

Committee
If you are interested in serving on the committee then please email Colin Cooper at SWLEN. Likely roles would be; Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, football club representative, conservation officer (to liaise with Gina/Nature's Gym for example), possibly Hampton Society representative, events officer and possibly others. Please indicate which role you would be interested in.

Issues
Two issues were highlighted by residents; the lack of grass cutting of the football club training pitch and the spoil heap. These are being taken forward and raised to the Parks Department by Gina Beresford from Nature's Gym/Glendale (the Council's conservation contractor).

Being kept updated
If you would like to be kept updated about the set-up of the friends group please complete you details on this link http://eepurl.com/casnrn and this will add you to the mailing list.
