Community walking and cycling day success
August bank holiday saw the grand opening of newest section of the North Birmingham cycle route alongside Plantsbrook between Penns Lane and the Eachelhurt Road. This includes a link up into Pype Hayes Park from the brook, where it is possible to follow signs for along residential roads to the Birmingham and Fazley Cancel (follows signage to the city centre) or Castle Vale (with its network of Project Wagtail routes) .
