Spiders

Thursday 25 August 2016
14:00 to 16:00

Come along to the Shot Tower beside the River Crane for a fun afternoon looking for spiders. As well as a great spider safari, expert Mike Strick will bring some of our eight legged friends to handle - tarantulas included! This is an afternoon specifically for children to enjoy and learn about local wildlife near the river and surrounding woodlands. Any insects found are left in their home during the day.

Please come along with wellingtons or waterproof footwear, and in clothing suitable for the weather on that day. The event is free but registering is essential: Register.

This event is part of a joint project between London Wildlife Trust and the Friends of the River Crane Environment to increase the knowledge and understanding of the River Crane and its wildlife and history. It has been funded by Richmond Civic Pride Awards
