You may have noticed an extensive refurbishment programme on the ground floor of the Madingley Tower block on the Cambridge Road Estate. This is to house the new Community Advice Shop which has been set up as a ‘one-stop advice shop’.
The project has been developed by the Community Action Partnership working with Kingston Voluntary Action. It will offer a programme of outreach and drop-in services delivered by voluntary and statutory organisations.
The Community Advice Shop was offically opened by The Worshipful The Mayor of Kingston, Cllr Mary Reid, on Thursday March 29th 2007.
