This was our first event and it was held in the Federation Office, 1 Tadlow on Thursday 14th May 2009.  We had 'taster' sessions to show anyone aged over 50 how to use the internet and send emails.  Even though we only had a few Silver Surfers the event proved to be a very enjoyable experience for those who took part.

BASIC IT TRAINING WORKSHOP 27th August and 23rd September 2009

Our next two events were 2 hour workshops, held in Piper Hall, for people of any age who wanted to learn basic IT skills.  The 27th August was for complete beginners and the 23rd September was a follow up for the same people to take them onto the next level.

This is a workshop that many residents have expressed an interest in, so hopefully, we will be running this course again before Christmas.
