We have been working hard (fuelled by Jane's lovely cakes) on the Indulgence Evening.  Dozens of professional beauty and holistic therapists will be taking over the school for one night only offering great value treatments to help you get ready for summer. Watch out for the brochure giving all the details which should be coming your way soon.The event is on 7th July from 6.30 - 10pm and you can book sessions by emailing pfaeventbooking@hotmail.co.uk

Our Library Appeal is progressing really well. Thanks to everyone who has contributed. The total now stands at £4,100. We have just sent off an application to the Foyles Foundation for more money to help the school achieve its ambition to totally transform the library. Fingers crossed!

It has been a while since I have added an update to this site but finally my guilty conscience has got the better of me. The main development has been the launch of our Annual Appeal. The aim is to simplify giving to the school by focussing on one single appeal every year for donations towards a major project. This year we are concentrating on the school library, a really important resource for every pupil at the school. Improving standards of reading and writing is a very high priority for the school. It is very well known that many boys turn away from reading when they enter their teens and this can have a very bad impact on their literacy skills, leaving them at a real disadvantage throughout their education. The school has done a lot to try to tackle this and the PFA wants to help by providing funds to refurbish the school library and improve the stock of books and CDs

The gardening continues to go from strength to strength with new faces coming along every time. We are also delighted to welcome some new members of the PFA committee - Patricia Brown who is our new Secretary along with Nicole Oosthuizen and Sarah MacLean - all of whom have sons in Year 7. We always need more helpers so if you think you can help out in anyway please get in touch. And please remember to return your Appeal Forms!
