Christ's College Finchley Parents and Friends Association (PFA) is a registered charity set up to support and fundraise for Christ's College Finchley, a community secondary school in Finchley, London. All parents of current pupils are automatically members.
Every year we run a programme of fun events which raise funds for Christ's College and give parents an opportunity to build a closer connection with the school. The PFA is run by a small, friendly committee and we always welcome new members so please check out our meetings schedule and come along to our next meeting to see how you can get involved.
URGENT CAMPAIGN
Please take a few minutes to look at the pictures on this site. They show the damage caused by rainwater leaking in through the roof throughout the school. Christ's College is a very good school with many strengths but the school buildings are over 30 years old in places and badly designed and built. The school has been doing what it can within its budget, but simply cannot afford to make the scale of repairs needed. So every time it rains heavily, classrooms, corridors, stairways and sports halls become unsafe to use.
We are launching a campaign to persuade Barnet Council that they need to take urgent action to fix the leaking school roof before it causes the condition of the school to deteriorate further, impacting on the education and health and safety of our children,
