Very local charity the River Thames Boat Project (http://www.thamesboatproject.org/index.html) collects textiles in bin-bags on Thursday mornings at the Richmond Venturer, Barge Dock, Canbury Wharf, at the junction of Downhall Road and Thames Side, Kingston KT1 1PX:
"We have teamed up with the award winning ‘Phil’ the Bag TM scheme to re-cycle textiles. We want to collect all types of unwanted textiles including: all kinds of clothing, shoes, bags, belts, hats, curtains, towels, bedding. Items are accepted in any condition."
