Brigg is Best...

Brigg is a great place to discover traditional street markets, individually owned shops and boutiques. The vibrant street market takes place every Thursday and attracts crowds from across the region. On the fourth Saturday the town is host to an award winning farmers’ market which sits alongside the weekly Saturday market. 

In the depths of winter a ghost walk through the town’s mysterious alleyways and courts can send a chill up your spine, but in the light of day you will be thrilled by the choice of independent shops and boutiques.

Brigg also lies in the tranquil Ancholme Valley where walkers and cyclists come to enjoy beautiful countryside views. Surrounded by fertile farmland, it is also no surprise that our delicious local produce is second to none.
