Important information if you're travelling to the USA...  Changes to United States visa requirements as of Monday 12th January, 09 means that British US-bound travellers are now required to fill in an online Visa Waiver application, before they embark on their journey. 

 Once you've completed the online form, you are then given an Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA) number which should be referenced at check-in, this is valid for 2yrs or the life of your passport (whichever is the shorter).
If you do not have an ESTA reference you will be turned away at immigration.  Things To Remember 
  • Check you have at least 6 months remaining on your passport
  
  • Apply online at www.esta.us  at least 72 hours before you travel.
  
  • Complete application online - takes less than 5 minutes.
   
  • Keep your ESTA reference number  with you for airport check-in.
