 BCV supports a number of projects such as the Future First and Family First Project. BCV's other projects entail:

Outdoor Education Activities- take place at Birmingham Outdoor Education Centre, Ackers, Wheels, Taff Valley and various other locations. This involves elements of team work and decision making. The Residential – 5 days in Taff valley, Wales. The 5 days consist of day time activities such as orienteering, climbing, canoeing, horse-riding, and quad-biking. Evening activities consist of personal development and life skills training such as: public speaking, team games, housekeeping and cooking. Activities are designed to develop skills such as: leadership, decision-making, raising self-esteem, developing self- awareness and self–confidence. BCV recognises learning based outbound activities can have a tremendous impact on young people especially those who are disengaged or are excluded from society.

Starboard Project – This is an evening, weekend and holiday study support project providing a high quality and stimulating extended education service to the community, especially those who are newly arrived in the Soho/Ladywood ward. This project aims to add value to already existing provisions and delivers supplementary support to young people of all backgrounds. It facilitates to maximise their full potential to become self reliant and independent. Experienced and specialist tutors provide tutoring in core national curriculum subjects in a relaxed environment with small groups.

Other projects: In order to support the local community, our facilities are made available to the general public for a variety of different community groups such as Handsworth United Football Club, Brookfield Residents Association, Sunday Bike Club, Single Mothers Meeting Room, Thai Boxing classes, Moorings Canal Boat Residents Association as well as many other local community groups.
