Making the decision to take action is difficult, no question. Fortunately, getting started with us is easy.
At ASCA, we know that change is hard
We also know that change begins with one single action. And then another. And then another.
That's why for over 20 years, we've provided counselling and support to 1000's of people suffering with their cycle of addiction - whether it be one of alcohol, drugs or something else.
We recognise that an addiction can affect more than just one person, so we also offer one-to-one and group support for partners, relative, carers and friends.
As a community based organisation, our services are available nearby in both Kingston and Richmond. We pride ourselves on offering clients an experience that is professional, affordable and always confidential. We currently have over 30 counselling staff, all of whom are appropriately and professionally qualified.
We work with a wide range of partners, on a local and national basis in order to be able to provide the highest level of support to our service users.
I felt utterly alone looking after a sick partner and my children. My Doctor suggested counselling at ASCA and having somebody to talk to and be listened to properly has given me new strength to face my home situation and make some necessary changes.
I have found the counselling that I have received even in the short time I have been attending has helped me greatly. Both the manager and my counsellor have treated me with a high level of professionalism from the start and I feel I have support when I need it. I would recommend the service to anyone who thinks they may have a problem and are seeking to take the first step.
