Year 2 - Miss Tyson

Welcome to Year One/Two

Bramblebank Woods

We have been having fun in Bramblebank Woods, learning about the different plants and animals that grow there. After taking lots of photographs, we did some huge paintings in the style of David Hockney.

We thought about the different animals found in a woodland habitat, then used our imagination to invent a strange creature who might live in Bramblebank Woods. After reading 'The Gruffalo' by Julia Donaldson, we wrote our own stories, featuring our own Bramblebank character.

Finally, despite the wind and rain, we went on a treasure hunt in the woods.
