Foundation Two - Mrs Appleyard

Welcome to Foundation 2

This week as part of our work on animals we have been reading the story 'Rumble in the Jungle'.  We have enjoyed painting our own jungle animals and  have written captions to describe what the animals look like.  We have also been sharing stories about Elmer the patchwork elephant and have designed our own elephant patterns. 

We have spent our first week getting rather wet and muddy in Bramblebank woods, looking at the different animals and plants that we might find in a woodland habitat.  We had our own 'treasure hunt' to look for different colours, shapes and patterns, before drawing and painting our own patterns indoors.
