Homelessness can affect us all at anytime in our lives. Do not let us assume that homelessness is an issue, which affects only poor people. Homelessness can occur for several reasons, relationship breakdown, poverty, debt including rent arrears or mortgage arrears etc. Homelessness is not a respecter of man, because it can happen to anyone. Change begins when we start to change our perceptions, then we can start to take action to make a difference in our communities. Let us remember that homeless people, are not social in-adequates. During this winter months, whilst some of us will have the luxury of shelter, some people will sleep outside in the cold. Many people die during the winter months, whilst they are rough-sleeping.
