The Advisers Forum is organised and operated by Kingston Voluntary Action (KVA) and its aim is to create a partnership between advice agencies based in Kingston.

Membership is open to voluntary, community and statutory organisations in the Borough
Referral system
The Advisers Forum has developed a referral system as sometimes it may be appropriate to refer a client to another agency who is in the partnership. This needs to be done in such a way that the client gets the best possible service and in a manner that can be easily dealt with by the agency taking the referral.

Discrimination Network
The Kingston Discrimination Pilot Referral Network Aims
- The development of effective signposting and referrals for clients with discrimination advice issues in Kingston
- Raise awareness of discrimination advice provision which will enable advice organisations to improve access to high quality, timely and appropriate discrimination advice in Kingston

Advice Week
The focus for Advice week 2010 (11th – 15th October) is ‘Discrimination’. This is a national event which is run by six charities. It is aimed at raising awareness of free, independent advice services.
