Active or recent projects

The partner organisations are always looking for funding to develop projects to achieve the mission of the ALC.

Kingston Voluntary Action, Superhighways and KCIL have been able to secure funding for a project from Adobe Community Investment Grant for an E-Access project .

The objectives are too;-

  • Work with 12 Kingston Voluntary and Community Sector organisations and promote assistive technology knowledge and use for clients/users/volunteers and paid staff.
  • Offer up to 4 drop in sessions for asssitive technology demonstrations and loansat the ALC.
  • Develop and deliver 2 workshops on assisitive ICT technologies topics
  • Promote the ALC assistive equipment loan scheme.
  • Promote and share materials on-line related to assistive technologies.
