On the 14th of August, I went to Bodney camp for annual camp 2011.During the week that we was there we done a lot of training such as skill at arms , drill , adventure training and field craft, the lessons were a lot of fun and interesting.
I had a lot of fun especially on adventure training because I got to do canoeing, rock climbing, kayaking, archery and more. The lessons were really good because I learned a lot and the instructors were really helpful so I had more fun and enjoyed everything more.
During my time there I got to meet a lot of other people and I got to make new friends and hung out together during NAFFI time which was fun and good. The thing that I didn’t enjoy was waking up really early in the morning and go to breakfast but after the first couple of days I got use to it.
Our last day on camp was really fun because we had ‘sports’ day and everyone participated and we was against the other companies and 14company won , later on everyone got dressed up and we had a disco and had fun , so it was a really good and fun way to end my annual camp 2011.

On Sunday 14th August to Saturday 20th August I went to Bodney camp for my first annual camp. When I first arrived at Bodney Camp I was really nervous because I didnt know what to expect there. But a few days later I started getting to know everyone.
On annual camp we did loads of things such as adventure training, drill, shooting with the air rifle, ambush, we went out in the field, marksmanship, p.t and on the last day we had a disco. I really enjoyed going on the adventure training because we did rock climbing, canoeing kayaking, archery and we had to do a walk for about 1 hour and 15 minutes which was about 1km which was really tiring.I also liked shooting with the air rifle, the ambush, sports day and the disco but I really loved the disco because it brought everyone on the camp really close. I liked sports day because it was so much fun and they had a lot of fun activities.
The activities that I enjoyed most was when we had to carry someone little on our team and then bring them back and I also enjoyed the one where we had to spin on the pole 5 times and then run and touch the pole and come back. I didnt really enjoy marksmanship because we had to sit down for long and I hate sitting down for long. But it was good because they told us a lot of things that we didnt know before which was really helpful. I didnt expect annual camp to be this much fun but im really happy that it was and the week went past so quickly that it was coming to the last few days so we went to the staff to ask if we can stay for two weeks. They didnt let us because we wasn't 2 stars. So we were disappointed but now I cant wait for next year to go on my second annual camp and to have even more fun.
